Our Story

Deerfield Junk Removal started the way a lot of local businesses do — with a truck, a sore back, and a simple idea. Our founder had spent years working for a national junk removal franchise and saw the same thing everywhere: homeowners getting hit with surprise fees, crews that showed up late or not at all, and a corporate office three states away that didn't know Broward County from Brevard. He figured there was room for a local company that actually picked up the phone, showed up when they said they would, and charged what they quoted.

So in 2020, with one truck and a two-person crew, we started serving Deerfield Beach and the surrounding communities. The first year was mostly residential pickups — furniture, appliances, garage cleanouts. Word got around. Property managers started calling for tenant cleanouts. Contractors needed construction debris hauling. A few estate attorneys in Broward County asked if we handled estate cleanouts, and we said yes. By year three, we had expanded to nine services, added a second truck, and were serving six cities across North Broward and South Palm Beach.

We're still local. The owner still answers the phone. The crew that shows up at your door lives in the area — not an hour away. And the pricing is still flat-quote, upfront, no surprises. That's what we built this business on, and it's what keeps customers calling us back and sending their neighbors our way.

How We Dispose of Your Junk Responsibly

Disposal is not an afterthought for us — it's built into how we work. Every load gets sorted. Usable furniture and working appliances go to local Broward County charities, including Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Salvation Army locations in the area. We donate first because a working refrigerator on someone's curb is a crime when a family three blocks away needs one.

Recycling is second. Metal, electronics, yard waste, and construction materials each go to specialized recycling facilities in Broward County. Clean lumber gets recycled. Metal frames and appliances get processed. Electronics go to certified e-waste facilities — not landfilled. Yard waste goes to the county's green waste facility where it becomes mulch.

Only what can't be donated or recycled goes to the landfill. That's typically 20 to 30 percent of what we haul. We track where our loads go because it matters — to the environment, to the community, and to customers who care about responsible disposal. When you hire us, you're not just getting rid of junk.
